Josephine (Buchholz) Pietz, 95 May 19, 1915 - July 8, 2010 Funeral services for Josephine Pietz were held Saturday, July 17, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at Friedens Reformed Church in Tripp with Pastor Wayne Huber officiating. Music was furnished by Lennis Mehlhaff, soloist, and Ruby Dewald, organist. Interment was in the Friedens Reformed Cemetery with Goglin Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Raymond Koerner, David Moore, Wayne Rames, Mark Buchholz, Harry Walters and David Koerner. Josephine (Buchholz) Pietz was born on Wednesday, May 19, 1915, on a farm near Dante to Alex and Dorothy (Wormsbecker) Buchholz. She completed the seventh grade at a country school in Bon Homme County. She was united in marriage to Herbert Pietz on January 29, 1952, at Tripp. Herbert died on March 6, 1966. She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Society of Tripp on October 12, 2007. She died on Thursday, July 8. She attained the age of 95 years, one month and 19 days. She is survived by a sister, Rosella Schuler, Port Richey, Fla.; six nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Dorothy Buchholz, husband, Herbert Pietz, son, Harven Herbert Pietz; brother, Edward Buchholz; and a sister, Agnes Koerner.
