WARREN -- Helen E. Roviscanec, 96, of Warren, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, in Horizon Village Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 26, 1907, in Braddock, Pa., daughter of the late Leonard and Katherine Schafer. She worked as a harness maker for Packard Electric. Surviving are a daughter, Marian Nicholson of Cortland, Ohio; a sister, Mary Hudak of Zanesville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Jack "Barbara" Lindenmuth of Warren; granddaughter, Charlotte Lilly of Cortland; granddaughter, Shirley Pappada of Warren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Roviscanec; a great-grandson, George E. "Bubby" Rutherford Jr.; two grandsons-in-law, Carmen "Dodie" Pappada and Ezara "Tiny" Lilly Jr.; and nine siblings. Friends will be received noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, with a funeral at 1 p.m. at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, Ohio, with the Rev. Frederick Lukehart officiating. Interment will follow in the Braceville Township Cemetery, Braceville, Ohio.
