William J. Keys, Sr.

William J. Keys, Sr., of Acme, Pa., formerly of Brentwood, died Friday, September 29, 2006, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
Born on July 19, 1929, in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Clyde and Bertha Matz Keys.
He retired from Continental Can Company, West Mifflin, Pa. and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 6743 and American Legion both of Donegal, Pa.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having been wounded in action and received the Purple Heart and Infantry Combat Badge.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Isabell Dunlevy Keys; a son, William J. Keys, Jr.; two granddaughters: Amy Domer and her husband, Michael of Uniontown, Pa. and April Keys of Greensburg, Pa.; two great-granddaughters, Laura and Julia Domer; a sister, Dorothy Wagner of North Carolina; and a brother, Edward Keys of Arizona.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the L. BOYD SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., CHURCH STREET, DONEGAL, Pa., (724-238-2611). A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, Pa. on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
