  [S927] Obituary. Fabacher Ruth Weatherby Fabacher passed away on May 9 in Covington, LA. She was a gracious and kind woman to all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Weatherby Sanchez of New Orleans. She was beloved by her husband of 68 years, the late Robert Jerome Fabacher. She is survived by their children: Catherine Ann Fabacher, Robert Jerome Fabacher, Jr, (wife Michelle Morgan), Jeffrey Everette Fabacher and James Weatherby Fabacher (wife Lisette Robbert). She is also survived by her four grandsons: Brook Benedict Fabacher, James Robbert Fabacher, Erik Weatherby Fabacher and Andrew Allerton Fabacher. Ruth was born on May 14, 1926 in Springhill, AL to Arvilla Kulawske and Marion Everette Weatherby. She was unflagging in her love and faith in family and friends; charitable, especially to those that she didn't know. She was truly 'a steel magnolia,' who will be missed for her style and charm. She always lived her life as she was, the May Queen of Murphy High School. Her life will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 444 Metairie Rd. Visitation will be at 10 am on Saturday, May 28 2016, Mass at 11 am and a Celebration of Life following mass, until 2 pm, in the St. Joseph Hall, a few steps from the church.
