Nellie Irene Overman Fyock, 80, Penn Run, died Saturday, Dec. 13,1997, at her home. The daughter of John and Minnie
Glassford Overman, she was born Oct. 27, 1917, in Cherryhill Township,Indiana County.
Mrs. Fyock lived her entire life in Cherryhill Township where she was a longtime active member of the Penn Run Church of the Brethren.She was a graduate of the Pine
Township High School and the Indiana State Teachers College. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a former elementary school teacher.
She is survived by her husband,Dale C. Fyock, to whom she was married for 56 years; two sons: D. Tracy and his wife, Darlene, Clymer, and John E. and his wife, Jean,Penn Run; three daughters: Mrs.Fred (Becky) Widdowson, Roanoke,
Va.: Mrs. Aaron (Peggy) Ankeny,Tallahassee, Fla.; and Mrs. Rodney (Corinne) Cramer, Penn Run; three sisters: Margaret Overman, Clymer; Dorothy Parry, Commodore;
and Mrs. James (Virginia) Bryant,Pittsburgh; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Wade and J. Budd Overman; and one sister,Violet Overman.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Penn Run Church of the Brethren
with Pastor Wilbur H. Hosler and Brother Chalmer Dilling officiating. Interment will be in the Penn Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be
made to VNA/Hospice Foundation Inc., 119 Professional Center, Suite 303, 1265 Wayne Ave., Indiana, PA 15701.
