He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Florence; his loved children Cheryl Nuss-Santos (husband Edgar), Randall Nuss (wife Wendy), Frances Nuss and Carolyn Guadagnolo; also precious grandchildren, Levi Santos, Ruby Nuss, Michelle Komlenic and Kimberly Batty; great grandfather of 3. He is also survived by loving sisters Esther Bullock, Mary Schnabel and Martha Johnson. He was born an April 3, 1911, on a farm near Alpena, SD, to Carolina and August Nuss and has been a resident of Sacramento since 1937. He was employed by Southern Pacific for 35 years and also was a licensed income tax preparer for many years. He was a member for 47 years of Union Kit Carson Lodge # 58, F. & A.M., and a long-time member of Centennial United Methodist Church. Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 from 4 - 7 PM at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Centennial United Methodist Church, 5401 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento on Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at 10 AM to be followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Centennial United Methodist Church Fund or the charity of the donors choice.
