  [S927] Obituary. Doris M. Weimer, age 81, of Canton, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at thefamily residence in Canada. A life resident of Canton, Doris was a graduateof McKinley High School with the class of 1936. Preceded in death by herparents, Ernest and Lula (Parott) Singer; also by a sister, Miriam Jones;and a brother, Robert Singer. Doris is survived by her husband of 60 years,Jack O. Weimer, Sr., of the residence; two sons, Jack O. Weimer, Jr. and hiswife, Karen of Navarre, OH, and Robert M. Weimer of Alexandria, VA; fourgrandchildren, Amanda Weimer Rohs and her husband, Tim, Sheila, Michael, andJonathan Weimer; two sisters, Jean Miller and Mrs. John (Nancy) Bosley, bothof Massillon; Doris is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dearfriends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2000, in theSpiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home, 710 Tuscarawas St., W., with Rev. Fr.John J. Skala officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.Friends may call on Sunday 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorialcontributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
