  [S927] Obituary. Sellersburg, IN: Alma Love Merryman, age 87, passed away at home with her beloved family around her on Friday, January 25, 2019. She was born to Straud and Lucretia (Feiock) Love in Palmyra, IN on August 28, 1931. She was the only girl in a family of six brothers, (all of whom preceded her in death), Loren Love, Harold Love, Jarold Love, Clarence Love, Horace Love, and Lloyd Love. Alma was a graduate of Morgan Township High School. On May 25, 1957, Alma married Jim Merryman. They enjoyed 39 years together before his death in 1996. They had three children: Roger (Julie) Merryman, Robin Merryman (who passed away in 2015), and Ronda (Nick) Merryman-Valiyi. Alma worked as a cartographer for Defense Mapping Agency in Louisville, KY for 29 years. She was a member of the Charlestown Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading the Bible and worshipping the Lord. She is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be held at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 12 p.m. Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-7 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
