She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was born June 21, 1911 in Huntington, a daughter of Henry J. and Helena Gelzleichter Scher. She married Andrew Stoltz on May 20, 1931. Her husband died May 5, 2002.Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Morris (Jean Ann) Buzzard, Huntington, and Mrs. Michael (Janet) Berghoff, Fort Wayne; two sons, Donald A. Stoltz, Zanesville, and Gerald E. Stoltz, Huntington; three brothers, George Scher, Eugene Scher, and Richard Scher, all of Huntington; two sisters, Marjorie Meyer and Phyllis "Sue" Pfister, both of Huntington; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Scher, Earl Scher, Delbert Scher, and Robert Scher; two sisters, Sister Josephine Scher and Kathleen Hesting; two grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., with Father Ron Rieder officiating.Burial will be at the Mt.
