(Heakin) Begue, age 81, of Louisville, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away at Aultman Hospital, Tuesday, August 10, 2004 following a brief illness. Eileen was born Feb 17, 1923 in Louisville to the late Bud and Hilda (Smithberger) Pillot. She was a former cashier at Kress IGA. Eileen was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and had volunteered at St. Joseph Care Center for several years. She is survived by her husband, Harold Begue with whom she recently celebrated 31 years of marriage; her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Bonnie Heakin of Portland, ME; her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn Heakin and Bill Lerch of Westerville, OH; her step-son and daughter-in-law, David and Patty Begue of Massillon; grandchildren, Eli Heakin, Meaghan Blythe-Cook, Allison abd Keia Begue and Ali Lerch; her sisters Margie Kilkenny and Dory (Joe) Samblanet all of Louisville and her brother Larry (Jane) Pillot of Russell, OH. She is preceded in death by her first husband, William Heakin and a step-daughter, Michelle Begue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 am in St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening 5-8 pm in the Paquelet Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Louis Catholic Church or to the American Cancer Society.
