KRESS May Louise Kress, 76, beloved wife of the late Gerald Edward Kress, died on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 12, 1934, a daughter of the late George Olin and Eva Foster. Mrs. Kress graduated from Morris Harvey College, which is now known as the University of Charleston, with a business degree. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are one son, Russell Kress and his wife, Katherine, of Charleston, W.Va.; three daughters, Karen Kress Bailey of Sumter, Sharon Kress Hill and her husband, Mark, of Charleston, W.Va., and Kathy Kress Fouts and her husband, Mark, of Sumter; one sister, Leoma Downey of Medina, Ohio; one brother, Darrell Foster of Gauley Bridge, W.Va.; and seven grandchildren, Donnie Lewis, Ryan Kress, Brian Hill, Samantha Hill, Monique Fouts, Jakob Fouts and Nick Fouts. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Edward Foster. Services will be private. Memorials may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, Memorial and Tributes, P.O.
