  [S927] Obituary. Verne E. Dillon BERGHOLZ, Ohio - Verne E. Dillon, 93, of Bergholz, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, following a current illness. She was a homemaker and member of the Bergholz Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Verne was born Aug. 21, 1910, a daughter of the late John and Nina Belle Shields Maple. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Atwell Dillon, in 1984; one brother, Jay Maple; and one sister, Margorie Henderson. She is survived by one daughter, Delores (Micki) Crow and husband, Larry, of Bergholz; three grandchildren, Todd Crow and wife, Megan, and Mindy Carpenter and husband, Clint, both of Bergholz; and Chris Crow and wife, Erin, of Westerville, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Vicki, Christian, Chloe and Liberty. Friends may call at the Everhart Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, Thurs-day from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Terri Slate officiating.
