Note: Was a painter by trade. At age 33 he was painting his house during the day. Then before reporting to work at the Peoria & Pekin Union Railroad (P&PURR), second shift, he was getting ready for work and picked a pimple on his face. He died in 3 days from septicemia, a blood poisoning. His family was devastated and it seemed to be the talk of the town at the time.
