Vincent Bleth, 78, Glen Ullin, ND died Friday, June 20, 2003 in the Marian Manor Healthcare Center in Glen Ullin. His funeral service was held at 10 a.m. MT Tuesday, June 24 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin with Father Sebastian Schmidt, OSB as Celebrant. Vincent was born November 11, 1924 in rural Hebron, a son of Peter and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Bleth. He grew up and was educated in rural Hebron schools. He worked for various farmers in the Richardton area until his marriage to Gertrude Kokot June 28, 1948 at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Hebron. Following his marriage he worked for the railroad and later on several construction projects including the Heart Butte Dam, Oahe Dam and the Glendoe Dam in Wyoming. Vincent was engaged in custom combining and grain cleaning from the late 1950s until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed working with motors and building things, as well as playing the button accordion. He was a member of the Eagles and German Hungarian clubs. He entered the Marian Manor in August of 2000 where he has since lived. He died Thursday, June 20 at the Manor. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter Melissa; one brother, four half brothers and five half sisters. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude, Glen Ullin; two daughters ? Cheryl (Douglas) Boehm, Bismarck and Vivian Bleth, Glen Ullin; two sons ? Lester, Glen Ullin and Dennis, Ridgeland, WI and eleven grand and seven great grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters Rose Fleck, Yakima, WA and Isabelle Guthmiller, Mandan, ND and two half brothers, Jake and Paul Messer, Washington. Spangelo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Agnes Ann Bleth, 81, Grand Forks, ND died July 18, 2009 at Altru Hospital with her loving family by her side.
"Aggie" Kuntz was born the daughter of John and Christina (Walior) Kuntz on November 29, 1927 in Devils Lake, ND. On June 2nd 1952 she married Donald K. Bleth. Aggie worked for the GF Public School System and later as a secretary at St. Michael's Church until her retirement in 1990.
Agnes will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed bingo, "her magazines", crossword puzzles, and "eating out?. She will always be remembered in her neighborhood as the lady who never had a snowflake on her driveway or sidewalk. Most of all she loved family time. She truly was the glue that held her family together, always insisting on getting together at every chance possible.
She is survived by her 3 children, Donald (Betty) Bleth, Kathy (Denny) Loff, and Ronald, all of Grand Forks, ND.; grandchildren, Tara (Mike) Lee, Lisa (Justin) Beauchamp; great grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew, Aidan Lee, and soon to be Cassidy Beauchamp; brothers, John, Grand Junction, CO, Ronald, Grand Forks, ND and a sister, Louise, Coon Rapids, MN.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1974; parents; 7 brothers, and a sister.
Special thanks to Patsy Phelps for her compassion, expert nursing skills, and the care she showed "Aggie" and her family, it meant the world to us.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in St. Michael?s Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service and 4:30 p.m. rosary service in the Gregory J. Norman - Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Wednesday.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
