Karst Freda M, 83, of Fort Wayne died in Fairfield Healthcare Center June 14. She was a South Whitley native and lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. She retired after 22 years with Polak Brothers in 1957 and was cradle roll superintendent of South Wayne United Methodist Church for 50 years. Surviving are a son Fred of LaOtto; her husband, Jacob; and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jana Mortorff of Fort Wayne. Services were June 18 in Chalfant-Perry-Klaehn Funeral Home. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park. ~ 6-21-1979
